Idda
About the Winery
IDDA is a groundbreaking joint venture between Piedmont's iconic Gaja family and Alberto Graci of Etna, established in 2016 on the southern slopes of Mount Etna in the villages of Belpasso and Biancavilla. The name means 'she' in Sicilian dialect, referring affectionately to the volcano, and their wines, crafted from Carricante and Nerello Mascalese grown at 600-800 meters, aim to showcase the unique potential of Etna's less-explored southern face.
