About the Winery

I Vigneri is a collective of winegrowers founded by legendary enologist Salvo Foti, with their winery in Milo on Etna's eastern slopes. Named after the historic Maestranza dei Vigneri, a 15th-century guild of vineyard workers, they champion traditional alberello vine training and minimal intervention winemaking from indigenous Etna varieties across the volcano's diverse contrade.
