About the Winery
Costabona Vini is a family-run winery in the heart of the Collio Goriziano near Gorizia, with a three-generation history that began in the early 1900s when Giuseppe Sfiligoj first planted vineyards. Christian Sfiligoj now leads the estate, cultivating exclusively owned vineyards on Ponca soils at 8,000 to 10,000 plants per hectare, producing only DOC Collio wines from indigenous varieties like Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, and Friulano alongside international grapes including Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
