About the Winery

I Borboni is a historic estate in Lusciano, Caserta, run by the Numeroso family since the 18th century, pioneering the revival of the ancient Asprinio grape and producing sparkling Asprinio di Aversa DOC wines in centuries-old underground tuff caves 15 meters deep. The family continues to cultivate Asprinio using the traditional 'vite maritata' method where vines climb trees, also producing Falanghina, Aglianico, and Coda di Volpe wines that reflect the volcanic soils of the Aversa plain.
