About the Winery

Humar is a family winery rooted in the history of the Collio area, located in Valerisce di San Floriano del Collio, right next to the Slovenian border. The estate cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of friable marlstone, producing wines from local varieties including Pinot Bianco, Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon, as well as reds such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir, with Marino Humar and his son Dario carrying on the family tradition of combining innovation with respect for Collio's winemaking heritage.
