About the Winery

Altesino is a prestigious Brunello di Montalcino estate founded in 1970, situated at 350 meters above sea level on theMontalcino hill with 40 hectares of vineyards. The estate pioneered the use of Brunello in 750ml bottles and introduced the Cru concept with their Montosoli vineyard, producing elegant, long-lived Sangiovese wines from the distinctive galestro and clay soils of the region.
