About the Winery
Piandaccoli is a small estate near Malmantile, just outside Florence, dedicated to preserving rare indigenous Tuscan grape varieties such as Foglia Tonda, Pugnitello, Barsaglina, and Mammolo. Owner Giampaolo Bruni cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards on mineral-rich hills, producing unique wines from Renaissance-era grapes recovered from seeds found in Lorenzo de' Medici's tomb, in partnership with the University of Florence.
