About the Winery

Glassier Hof is a historic family winery in Egna, Alto Adige, with a name derived from the Latin Clausura meaning enclosure, referring to the circular walls surrounding the estate built in 1663. Now in its ninth generation under the Vaja family and certified organic since 2005, the estate cultivates 2.5 hectares of Pinot Blanc, Lagrein, Merlot, Cabernet, and Chardonnay on soils of lime marl, sandstone, and porphyry at 220 meters above sea level.
