About the Winery
Collavini is a historic family winery founded in 1896 in Corno di Rosazzo by Eugenio Collavini, now in its fourth generation producing 1.5 million bottles annually. Manlio Collavini pioneered bottled wine in the region, created the first Friuli sparkling wine in 1971 by blending Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay, and developed the Collavini Method for sparkling Ribolla Gialla, earning him the title ""The Lord of Ribolla Gialla"" while operating from a restored 16th-century manor house with an on-site Osteria della Ribolla restaurant.
