About the Winery

Founded in 1961, Cantina Gaffino is a family-run winery spanning 32 hectares south of Rome in the Colli Albani, where 28 hectares of vineyards thrive on volcanic and clay soils at an ideal altitude. Now guided by the third generation, Gabriele Gaffino, the estate produces wines exclusively from estate-grown grapes, including labels such as Cardinale (Cesanese), Opimiam (Syrah), and Il Buon Bastardo (Cabernet Sauvignon), honoring a winemaking tradition that dates back over two millennia to the Ancient Romans.
