Frank Cornelissen is a Belgian-born winemaker who has become one of Etna's most iconic and influential figures since establishing his estate in Passopisciaro in 2000. His extreme minimal-intervention approach, using only Nerello Mascalese and other indigenous varieties from high-altitude volcanic vineyards, has redefined natural winemaking on the volcano and inspired a generation of producers.
