About the Winery
Fradé is the brand of the Boffenisio and Cattabrega estates in Borgo Priolo in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese, created by brothers Francesco (born 1994) and Federico (born 1996) Piaggi — the name means 'brothers' in the local dialect. The certified organic estate produces eight labels including white wines from Riesling and Sauvignon, Metodo Martinotti sparkling Chardonnay, young reds from Barbera, Bonarda, and Pinot Nero, and two barrique-aged Riservas with distinctive cherry wood labels.
