About the Winery

Cantina del Vesuvio was founded in 1930 by Giovanni Russo in Trecase on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and is now managed by Maurizio Russo, who upholds a family tradition of crafting organic wines from indigenous Piedirosso and Caprettone grapes. Spanning 16 hectares within the Vesuvius National Park, the winery produces acclaimed Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC wines, with their products sold exclusively through the winery's on-site and online shops.
