About the Winery

Azienda Vinicola Attilio Contini is the oldest continuously running winery in Sardegna, founded in 1898 in Cabras on the Sinis peninsula in west-central Sardinia, now in its fifth generation of family ownership. The estate is most closely identified with Vernaccia di Oristano, the island's first DOC, and produces wines from native varieties including long-aged Vernaccia riservas, Cannonau, Vermentino, Nieddera, and Bovale Sardo.
