Pianta Grossa is a winery in Donnas, Valle d'Aosta, producing wines from steep, terraced vineyards where Nebbiolo (locally called Picotendro) thrives on granite and schist soils. The estate crafts wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Donnas DOC, the first wine region in the Aosta Valley to receive DOC status in 1971.
