Brugnoni Agricola (Hills of Perugia)
About the Winery
Brugnoni Agricola is a family-run winery near Perugia in Umbria, whose winemaking legacy began in the mid-1920s when the family settled in Pieve Pagliaccia as sharecroppers before purchasing the estate in 1959, now cultivating 15 hectares of vineyards in the gentle hills of the Tiber Valley. The winery produces seven IGT wines from varieties including Trebbiano Toscano, Grechetto, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, following traditional methods from hand-harvesting to indigenous yeast fermentation in their charming 19th-century farmhouse.
