About the Winery

Isole e Olena is an iconic Chianti Classico estate founded in 1956 by the De Marchi family in the San Donato in Poggio UGA, spanning 320 hectares with 56 hectares of vineyards between 300 and 500 meters. Under Paolo De Marchi, nicknamed 'Mr. Sangiovese,' the estate revolutionized Chianti Classico winemaking, creating Cepparello, one of Italy's benchmark 100% Sangiovese wines, and championing single-varietal expression and hillside terrace revival.
