About the Winery

Fongaro Spumanti is a winery founded in 1975 in Ronca, in the Lessini Mountains between Verona and Vicenza, specializing exclusively in Traditional Method sparkling wines from the indigenous Durella grape. One of the first organic wineries in Veneto, Fongaro crafts Lessini Durello DOCG wines on volcanic soils at altitude, with each bottle handled by hand at least 40 times before leaving the cellar.
