About the Winery
Fondo Antico is an estate in Contrada Portelli in the territory of Trapani, western Sicily, with 80 hectares of vineyards and a winemaking tradition spanning over a century through the Polizzotti-Scuderi family. Since 1995, they have focused on indigenous varieties including Grillo, Inzolia, Grecanico, Nero d'Avola, and Perricone, with vineyards at altitudes of 50 to 350 meters on calcareous and clay soils of marine origin.
