About the Winery

Pfannenstielhof is a heritage red-wine estate on the eastern edge of Bolzano, Alto Adige, first documented in 1561 and run by the Pfeifer family since 1816 across eight generations. Specializing exclusively in the indigenous varieties Vernatsch and Lagrein across four hectares, Johannes Pfeifer and his family craft distinctive St. Magdalener and Lagrein wines that have earned the estate Gambero Rosso's highest Tre Bicchieri honors.
