About the Winery

Filippo Grasso is a small, fourth-generation family winery in Contrada Calderara, Randazzo, on the northern slopes of Mount Etna at 650 meters above sea level. Their 6 hectares of organically farmed vineyards are planted exclusively to indigenous Etna varieties including Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, and Catarratto, producing around 40,000 bottles annually of unoaked wines that purely express volcanic terroir.
