About the Winery

Cantina Calcagno is a family estate in Passopisciaro on Etna's northern slopes, where brothers Franco and Gianni Calcagno, along with Gianni's daughter Giusy, have been producing their own wines since 2006 from vineyards inherited from their grandfather. Their vineyards in Contrada Arcuria and Feudo di Mezzo at 650-850 meters are planted to Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Carricante, producing classic Etna DOC wines that express the volcanic terroir.
