About the Winery
Founded in 1989 by Michel Vallet in Sarre, Feudo di San Maurizio has grown from a tiny 700-square-meter vineyard to an 8-hectare estate producing approximately 60,000 bottles annually. Vallet, a self-taught winemaker, has become one of the most respected producers in the Aosta Valley, championing indigenous grape varieties and personally terracing steep, abandoned vineyard sites to revive the region's viticultural heritage.
