About the Winery
Camporè is a boutique winery in Randazzo on Etna's northern slopes, established in 2016 by sisters Maria Pia and Cristina Madaudo in the historic Contrade San Lorenzo and Campo Re at 765 meters altitude. Their Etna DOC wines, crafted from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, and Catarratto, express the unique mineral-rich terroir of ancient lava flows, with the name Campo Re dating back to 1282 when King Peter III of Aragon camped there during the Sicilian Vespers.
