About the Winery
Fattoria Moretto is an organic family winery founded in 1971 by Domenico ""Moretto"" Altariva in the hills of Castelvetro near Modena, now run by the third generation with a focus exclusively on Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC. Certified organic since 1997, their vineyards on clay-silt soils at 200 meters altitude produce bone-dry, terroir-driven Lambrusco that has earned international acclaim as ""the Tempier of Lambrusco"" from importer Kermit Lynch.
