About the Winery

Casa Vinicola Fratelli Bettini was established in 1881 in San Giacomo di Teglio in the Valgella subzone, the northernmost area of Valtellina, making it one of the oldest wine companies in the region. Now in its fifth generation with 15 hectares of vineyards, the winery produces a complete range of Valtellina wines including Rosso di Valtellina DOC, four Valtellina Superiore DOCG wines from Sassella, Inferno, Grumello, and Valgella, plus Sforzato, sparkling wines, and was among the first to bottle Sforzato in the late 1950s.
