About the Winery

Eredi di Maio is a young estate in Milo on Etna's eastern slopes, founded in 2018 by Andrea and Luca Patane, brothers who represent the fourth generation of a family growing grapes since 1867. Their 2.8 hectares of small, ancient vineyards, some dating to pre-phylloxera times, are planted primarily to Carricante and Nerello Mascalese on volcanic sandy soils at altitudes between 580 and 900 meters.
