About the Winery
Cantina Terracruda is a family-run winery founded in 2005 in Fratte Rosa, a hilltop village at 420 meters in the Pesaro e Urbino province of northern Marche. The estate's 20 hectares of organically farmed vineyards are dedicated exclusively to native grape varieties, including Bianchello del Metauro DOC, Colli Pesaresi Sangiovese DOC, and Pergola Aleatico DOC, along with recovered ancient varieties like Incrocio Bruni 54 and Garofanata. In 2016, the winery received the prestigious 'Angelo Betti – Benemeriti della Vitivinicoltura' prize from the President of the Italian Republic for its contribution to advancing viticultural quality.
