About the Winery

Tenute Priori & Galdelli is a family winery founded in 1974 in Rosora, in the Marche hinterland near Ancona, on hills with a rich agricultural heritage dating back to Benedictine monks in the 16th century. The estate spans 30 hectares with 20 dedicated to vineyards, where Verdicchio dominates on 17 hectares alongside Montepulciano and Merlot, producing approximately 20,000 bottles annually. Their portfolio includes acclaimed Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in multiple expressions, a Metodo Classico sparkling wine, and the red Cometa IGT, all crafted with a focus on expressing the unique terroir between the Jesi and Matelica zones.
