About the Winery

Lucchetti is a family winery in Morro d'Alba, in the province of Ancona, Marche, that has become a benchmark producer for the rare indigenous Lacrima di Morro d'Alba grape. Founded by Mario Lucchetti in the 1980s and now run with his son Paolo, an enologist, the estate spans 18 hectares with many Lacrima vines aged 35-40 years, along with Verdicchio plantings. Their wines, crafted with consultant winemaker Alberto Mazzoni, include the flagship Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, the single-vineyard Guardengo, and an Amarone-style passito, all celebrated for their extraordinary aromatic intensity with notes of violets and wild strawberries.
