About the Winery

Fazi Battaglia is an iconic winery founded in 1949 in Cupramontana, in the Castelli di Jesi area of Marche, from the union of the Fazi and Battaglia families. Now part of the Angelini Wine & Estates group and led by brothers Carlo and Gianfranco Garofoli and their children, the estate cultivates 130 hectares of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi vineyards. Their historic amphora-shaped bottle, designed by architect Antonio Maiocchi in 1953, became a symbol of Verdicchio and Italian wine culture, with acclaimed wines including Podium and a celebrated Metodo Classico Pas Dosé.
