About the Winery

Fattoria Forano is a historic family estate owned by the Lucangeli family since 1966, located in Appignano at 300 meters above sea level in the heart of the Marche region. The estate encompasses 21 hectares of vineyards planted with indigenous grape varieties including Ribona, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Vernaccia Nera, and Lacrima, producing approximately 40,000 bottles annually. The winery, housed in a 19th-century farmstead with underground barrel cellars, combines ancient viticultural traditions with modern winemaking techniques to craft wines of exceptional character and elegance.
