About the Winery
Azienda Agricola Marchetti is a family-run winery founded in the early 1900s in Ancona, in the heart of the Rosso Conero DOC zone along the Riviera del Conero. The estate covers 24 hectares, with 16 hectares of Montepulciano and Sangiovese vines near the Adriatic coast and 8 hectares of Verdicchio inland in the Castelli di Jesi area. Led by agronomist Maurizio Marchetti, the winery produces acclaimed Rosso Conero and Conero Riserva DOCG wines, including the prestigious Villa Bonomi, as well as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, with production limited to approximately 50,000 bottles annually.
