About the Winery
Donnachiara is a family-run winery founded in 2005 in Montefalcione, Irpinia, by the Petitto family, with vineyards stretching along the hills between the Fiano di Avellino and Taurasi DOCG zones at about 560 meters above sea level. Named after Ilaria Petitto's great-grandmother Chiara, the women-led estate focuses exclusively on native Irpinian varieties including Fiano, Greco di Tufo, Aglianico, and Falanghina, producing wines that express the volcanic soils and high-altitude terroir of Campania.
