About the Winery
Barone Beneventano del Bosco, also known as Etna Barrus, is an organic winery on Etna's southeastern slopes in Trecastagni, founded by four friends in 2005 and named after Catania's elephant symbol. Their 2.7 hectares of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio vineyards sit at 600 meters on volcanic sandy soils below Monte Gorna, producing around 7,500 bottles annually of Etna Rosso and Rosato.
