About the Winery

Cottanera is a family-run estate in Castiglione di Sicilia on Mount Etna's northern slopes, founded in the 1960s with vineyards between 350 and 700 meters above sea level. They specialize in Etna DOC wines made from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Carricante, with a strong emphasis on terroir expression and indigenous varieties.
