About the Winery

Cooperativa Agricola Triasso e Sassella was founded in 2004 by four winegrowers in the tiny village of Triasso, in the heart of the Sassella subzone of Valtellina Superiore DOCG. The cooperative produces three wines — Sassi Solivi, I Ciaz, and a Riserva — entirely from Nebbiolo grapes grown on steep, rocky terraces, practicing sustainable viticulture without pesticides or herbicides to preserve this centuries-old winemaking heritage.
