About the Winery
Conti Zecca is one of southern Italy's most historic wineries, with roots in Leverano dating back to 1580 when Francesco Antonio Zecca arrived from Naples, and the modern cellar founded in 1935 by Alcibiade Zecca. Today managed by four Zecca brothers, the estate encompasses approximately 320 hectares across four tenute — Cantalupi, Donna Marzia, Saraceno, and Santo Stefano — cultivating native varieties including Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Bianca with sustainable farming practices in the heart of Salento.
