About the Winery
Colle Ciocco is the winery of the Spacchetti family in Montefalco, Umbria, with a winemaking history that dates back to 1870, long before Sagrantino had its DOCG title, and now encompasses 12 hectares of vineyards and 8 hectares of olive trees at approximately 400 meters above sea level. The family farms by hand with intentionally low yields, producing wines centered on Sagrantino and Trebbiano Spoletino, including some of the oldest Trebbiano vines in the area, and bottles about 30,000 wines a year with a focus on traditional but clean vinification.
