About the Winery

Citra is one of Abruzzo's most important wine cooperatives, founded in 1973 and based in Ortona, Chieti province. Representing approximately 3,000 grower families across 6,000 hectares of vineyards and 8 cooperative cellars, Citra produces wines from native varieties including Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, Cococciola, and Montonico, combining traditional expertise with modern technology.
