About the Winery

Basilisco was founded in the early 1990s in Barile, Basilicata, with a focus on producing the highest quality wines from the volcanic terroir of Monte Vulture. Now part of the Feudi di San Gregorio family, the estate utilizes splendid cellars carved into volcanic tuff in the historic 'Shesh' park of Barile, with Viviana Malafarina managing operations under the expert guidance of Pierpaolo Sirch.
