About the Winery
Cautiero is a small organic winery in Frasso Telesino, Benevento, founded in 2002 by Fulvio Cautiero and Imma Coprano. The 4-hectare estate on the northwest side of Mount Taburno within the Sannio DOC produces wines from indigenous varieties including Fiano, Falanghina, Greco, Piedirosso, and Aglianico, with spontaneous fermentation and minimal sulfur use in a cellar excavated into volcanic rock.
