About the Winery

Castello Solicchiata is one of Sicily's most historic and prestigious wineries, founded in 1852 by Baron Felice Spitaleri on the southwestern slopes of Mount Etna near Adrano. The estate produces Bordeaux-style blends from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, along with Pinot Noir, from terraced vineyards at 800-1200 meters, with wines aged for at least a decade before release.
