About the Winery

Cantina Foresi is a historic wine cellar and bar located on the beautiful Piazza del Duomo in Orvieto, Umbria, operating since 1953 when Antoni Foresi restored an old warehouse and began selling bulk wine tapped directly from barrels in the underlying 1300s cave carved entirely from tuff stone. Today the family continues to offer an extensive selection of wines from the Orvieto area and beyond, along with tastings, local products, and olive oil, maintaining a deep connection to the city's winemaking traditions.
