About the Winery

Barone Ricasoli is the oldest winery in Italy, with the Ricasoli family producing wine at Castello di Brolio since 1141, spanning over 850 years of continuous winemaking. The estate encompasses approximately 1,200 hectares in Gaiole in Chianti with nearly 240 hectares of vineyards, producing Chianti Classico, Gran Selezione single-vineyard wines, and Super Tuscans under the guidance of Francesco Ricasoli and oenologist Carlo Ferrini.
