Cantina Altarocca is a winery located in the Orvieto area of Umbria, founded in 2000 by Luca Maroni and situated on hilly terrain with an ideal microclimate for vine cultivation, now operating as part of the Altarocca Wine Resort overlooking the countryside near Rocca Ripesena. The estate focuses on the production of white wines, particularly Orvieto Classico, using native varieties such as Trebbiano Spoletino and Grechetto alongside international varieties like Chardonnay, with a commitment to sustainable agriculture and modern, innovative winemaking approaches across its 20 hectares of organic vineyards and olive groves.
