About the Winery

Paolo Giordano is a small artisan estate in the Perno hamlet of Monforte d'Alba, Piemonte, founded in 2015 when Paolo left his career as an industrial programmer to revive his wife Ileana's family winemaking tradition that dates to 1939. Farming nearly five hectares, the estate produces Barolo Perno from vines planted in 1986, Langhe Nebbiolo, and Dolcetto d'Alba using indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur, and aging in large oak barrels, crafting approximately 13,000 bottles annually in a tiny garage winery.
