About the Winery
Luigi Giordano is a historic winery near the village center of Barbaresco, Piemonte, founded by Giovanni Giordano in the 1930s and now in its fifth generation under Luigi, his daughter Laura, and grandson Matteo, farming over seven hectares across prestigious crus including Asili, Montestefano, and Cavanna. The estate is the only producer with a monopole bottling of Cavanna, vinifying Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, and Arneis with long macerations and aging in large Slavonian botti, following an elegant, hands-off tradition established when Luigi first bottled his own wine in 1958.
