About the Winery
Giacosa Fratelli is a fifth-generation, family-owned winery founded in 1895 in Neive, Piemonte, by Giuseppe Giacosa, who bought the estate after winning the Italian lottery, and now farms 50 hectares across prime sites in Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, Neive, and Alba. The estate owns top plots including Vigna Mandorlo in Scarrone, Cascina Canavere in Bussia, and Bricco San Pietro in Monforte, producing Barolo, Barbaresco, and other traditional varieties with a strong commitment to sustainability including solar power and zero-emission goals.
