About the Winery

Established in 1996 in the Frascati DOC area on a hill south of Rome, Casale Mattia is a family-owned organic winery cultivating vineyards, olive groves, and biodiverse fields on the region's celebrated volcanic soils. The estate specializes in traditional Frascati DOC and DOCG wines made from Malvasia di Candia, along with Cesanese, Shiraz, and Merlot reds, using both traditional methods and the charmat method for sparkling wines.
